External bets:

-On a column, Colonnes in French and Columns Bet in English, the proportion is  2:1.

-On a dozen, Douzaines (French) and Dozens Bet (English) – 2:1 proportion;

-On a Higher number – French Passe and English High Bet – 1:1;

-On a lower bet – French (Manque) and English (Low) 1:1;

-On an even number – French Pair and English Even- 1:1;

-On an odd number – French Impair and English Odd – 1:1;

-On a red cell, the bet called Rouge in French and Red in English – 1:1;

-On a black cell, the bet called Noir in French and Black in English – 1:1.

2)    Set limits before wagering. It is important to establish a maximum loss for yourself as well as a maximum gain. For example, if you came with $100, then $100 is the most you will be willing to lose and you won’t go past that point. A winning standard is needed to decide where to stop to avoid losing what you have already won.

3)    If you choose which game to play it is better to choose European Roulette, where the house edge is 2.7%, rather than American Roulette with a 5.26% house edge.

4)    Stick to betting odds that are close to the payout amount. For example, even money bets such as even, odd, low, high, red or black bets have a 1:1 odd, giving you a 45% chance of winning.
